The goal for this project was to build a brand system and complete website prototype for a fictitious music festival. This music festival was centered around indie, folk, and alternative music with the main visual concept being built around the look of highway road signs. This visual concept is an ode to the idea of driving "into the woods."
Wordmark & INspiration

The main wordmark for the music festival is a direct reference to the look of US overhead highway road signs, with variations from the typical green color scheme. This logo structure is easily adapted to fit on highway billboards.



Typography &
Color System
The type derives from the often humorous or comforting monospaced text we see on electronic road signs, while the colors are embracing the colors that have become a staple to US highway way-finding while also maintaining a color system that prioritizes accessibility and legibility,

Prototype
Using Figma, a complete website prototype was built including a home page, ticket sales page, information page, separate pages for each day of the event, and separate pages for each artists, among many others.
